Many think that the work of spreading the Gospel message is a job for theologians and preachers, priests and bishops. False notions!


For if we open the Acts of the Apostles, or the history of the first centuries of Christianity when Faith triumphed, we would see that many laypeople that worked at different trades helped to spread Christianity.


Each Christian was then a fervent preacher of Christ's Gospel.


History certifies that Christian merchants, traveling through the Mediterranean lands, were diligent in transmitting the Christian truth wherever they went.


It was the blessed time of a living faith, when Christians considered the spreading of God's word their first job; and everything else was secondary.
